Mitsumi Drivers
I have a Mitsumi CRMC LUOO/S CD-ROM drive, about a year old. In attempting
to update the drivers I must be missing something.The old Device command
read :
\DEV\MTMCDD.SYS /D:MSC001 /T:3 /I:5 /S:3 /M:15
and worked okay. The new system (1.5) which I downloaded here has some
different parameters. The closest I came to getting it to work was :
\DEV\MTMCDD.SYS /D:MSCD001 /P:300 /A:0 /M:15 /T:3 /I:5
which recognizes the drive while loading drivers but can't find it when I
try to switch to D:.
/P:300 is the only /P option that works at all and I'm not sure what it
does. /A:0 sets the sound, I've tried both options. /M:15 didn't change
from the previous version. I've tried increasing and decreasing memory to
no avail. My DMA was 3 before, nothing has changed. My IRQ was 5 before,
nothing has changed.
When I erase everything and reinstall version 1.1 my drive works again, but
the new version is supposed to be faster better. Does anyone have any
ideas?
