Andy,
Thank you for your answer. I was pleased when I read that someone is
doing the same thing that I want to do. Ouch!, draw the 2d animation,
scan and clean and paint it, is a hard and long process (ok, 2D
classic animation is a hard and long process too), but you can save
steps with Animator Pro and a Wacom pressure sensitive tablet. I'm
planning to use this. First, make the 3D Truecolor background
Animation in 3D Studio and save it to disk. Then gray out the
background and take it to APRO. Wonderfull, a gray highresolution
animation and 240 (aproximate) colors to play (for each character).
You can save now each character animation separately, ready to be
plugged in the main truecolor animation and render the final
animation to tape…if you find the software to do it (I know, 3DSr2
CAN but I want a low cost program -for now-).
