Jim, I just figured out something last night. Have'nt had time to play with it yet, but it seems to work…. with a twist. Try this, ( I'm assuming you have a +16/32). Using TCONFIG, set your board up as follows, T+ mode, genlock on, 16 bit, VGA off( I'm also guessing that your going out to a second monitor, I'm using a 20" s-video TV monitor.), your input type, and a res of 640 x 480. Using that resolution gives you MUCH faster flic playback! (There's something in a readme file about this.) Activate "interactive" and "go live" to make sure your getting the signal through. Save it and run it before starting anipro. Now try anipro mode 3, and choose the box tool. Make the active color (and here's the twist) R 252, G 0, B 0. Now hold your breath…. and draw a box. Hopefully you won't have a red box. Well, it worked for me. I'd rather have it as 0, 0, 0, but whatever works I guess. The assigned key color does'nt seem to effect anything, no matter what color it is. Sorry if I dragged it out, I guess I could've said "Use this color", but I wanted to make sure you followed the same steps as I did. Hope it works! In regards to the last Question…. I dunno. I hope to start a business doing animation and whatnot for commercials and film work, but that's a ways away. Right now it's really just an expensive hobby that I'm learning and can only do around my "real job", which will probably be obsolete in 10 years _because_ of computer animation. My so called "real job" is doing special make-up effects for films (animatronics, prosthetic make-ups, etc.). More and more of the effects traditionally done by physical means are now done on the computer. For "Jurrasic Park" (Spielberg's upcoming dinosuar epic), 40+(last I heard) shots are being done at ILM using 100% computer generated dinosaurs! Word has it that the stuff done so far looks incredible, (of course). ( cont….)
