SCSI Express

I am also with Micro Design. If you check in the Lib 4, there is a file
called MSCDEX.NO which explains using CD-ROMs without MSCDEX. Very few
CD-ROMs have problems working with SCSI Express, and with some of the ones
that do the publishers are in the process of fixing their CD-ROM.
In an earlier message I refered you to a review in the January 11th issue
of LAN Times magazine. In this review SCSI Express came away with the
"Best of Times" award. It is to a publishers advantage to work with SCSI
Express since it is one of the leading CD-ROM networking solutions. Even
though Windows will not run "all" DOS programs end users seem to be
flocking to Windows, and the DOS software companies that have problems with
Windows are modifing their DOS programs to work with Windows. I believe the
few problem CD-ROMs that currently exist will eventually be fixed to work
with SCSI Express. We have already seen this starting to happen.
