Without reference to the merits of your offer, saying the Amiga is better
than other machines is one thing. Saying a used Amiga is worth a certain
amount is quite another. Used MSDOS machines go cheap, too. If you want a
comparison, go over to the Tandy M-100 sig some time and read their
classifieds. We're talking about people who think that a machine that has
less power than some calculators walks on water. It clearly trades largely
on machine charisma, if there is such a thing. Even so, people who really
try to romance a sale to get an out-of-line price get hooted down fast.
Most people who frequent the classified sections are bottom trollers like
myself who would gladly pay rock-bottom price to pick up something they
can't justify buying even at mail order prices. If this is a revelation,
sorry for the dose of reality.
