Jim–The interface is proprietary, the only CD ROM's that work are one's
that say they are soundblaster pro compatable. Panasonic makes drives that
are compatable, Creative markets an upgrade kit with the CDROM and some
software. Since the kit is about $360 you might by the Creative kit. The
other choice is to buy a low cost CDROM (i.e. Mitsumi) and use the
controllor that comes with it (will cost you a slot).
