Kevin, History would really be at an end if the Saddams stopped doing their thing. If the Europeans can unite (sort of) then the Arabs could if their objectives were peaceful. I think the progress for humanity is defined by our abilities to handle these problems before they break out into a larger conflict. The problems before were compounded by two sides supplying arms to their side. The Russians have stopped supporting the Saddams and we have stopped supporting the other side. This really diminishes the possibility of another Vietnam. Paul
