Personally, when I'm buying a used system, I do not allow much for software
that comes with it. Most often, for most people, a lot of that software
you are not going to use. Secondly some vendors do not allow transfer of
the liscence, which means that you are cut off from the upgrade path. And
at the very worst illegally using it.
When one looks at what used software often brings, in the context of adding
value to a machine, if it is not what you would go out and BUY, then there
is not a lot of added value. – Alex
