Yes, I'm talking about the tiny cable, the audio connection between CD-ROM drive and the sound card. I have a Texel DM-3024 internal CD-ROM drive and a DAK BSR MediaMaster card (an OEM'd AudioMaster). The options for connecting audio out from the Texel are an internal rear 3-pin male socket (called a J.S.T. connector) or the front panel female miniplug. The MediaMaster connects via the rear panel female miniplug or a male on-board J.S.T. socket. The easiest way to connect would be a male-male miniplug cable running from the front of the CD-ROM to the back of my machine but that's too inelegant for my tastes. I guess I'll have to track down the connectors at some electronics supplier and make the cable myself. Jim
