Philips LMS 205
Hi Bernard,
Although I work for Philips, I don't work on CD-ROM or multimedia – I
just upload the CDROMF.ZIP file as I think it's a useful file and I
have easy access to the USENET at work.
Not working on CD-ROM, I don't know what the latest revision of dd250.sys
is, but I did download a file from the Philips Bulletin board mentioned
in CDROMF.ZIP (+1 310 532 6436), at no small expense since I'm in the UK !
I've uploaded this self extracting file to the Drivers/Hardware library
section as CM205.EXE. This contains the v1.20 (April 1992) drivers for the
CM205, which may be better than your v1.1 ? I don't have a CDROM so I haven't
tested these drivers.
You may also be interested in the file CM205S.TXT, uploaded by Torsten
Droste (100064,1346) which describes more recent single-session Photo CD
drivers for the CM205.
If I get time I'll try and call someone in Philips to find out the latest
version of these drivers. The CDROMF.ZIP file also gives a phone number
for Philips of 615-521-4499 if you need more info.
