I was reading a string that you were participating in and though that you might
could help. I am currently putting a system together and just want a second
opinion before I commit. Here is a list of what I plan to get could you give me
a little input on how this will work for basic editing, some short animation,
and for special event and training video taping and rpoduction.
1. Video Toaster System (68040 CPU, 18 MB RAM, 120 MB HD)
2. 88 MB SyQuest removable drive
3. DPS TBC IV
4. DPS Personal Animator recorder card
5. Y/C Plus I/O Board
6. Horita BSG-50 Sync Generator
7. Panasonic AG-1970 Player/Recorder x 3
8. Panasonic CT-1383 13" S-Video Monitor
9. Panasonic CT-2083 20" S-Video Monitor
10. TAO Editizer and 2.0 software.
11. Panasonic AG-455 SVHS 1 chip recorder
12. Panasonic AG-460 SVHS 2 chip recorder
There are several software packages and some audio hardware that I am also
getting but I know enough about those to make a decent decision.
Any suggestions or comments would be appreciated.
