Your suggestion won't work properly. Making the dimple the single dimple is
simple enough… Creating many of them in one map to be wrapped spherically is
the problem.
Also, take a good look at a golfball as Jeff suggests. There are no clean rows
of dimples. The dimples are packed together and wrapped perfectly around the
ball – as if each dimple were the center with other dimples surrounding it.
It's tough!
