I don't have the specific answer to your question re: running 'Minmerge"
but
I've sometimes found a requester hiding behind other screens or windows
asking for an action. Somehow it didn't seem to pop to the front…
Maybe you've a hidden requester? Try L-Amiga-N (or -M)?
