Recently I had to create an animation of a two car race (one car symbolized IBM's new printed-circuit technology, the other an older technology). I decided to extract the car in E:\\\\ s (from the AniPro CD), to use in my animation. To remove the background from that animation, I used the interesting properties of XOR ink, namely: 1) a pixel XORed twice with the same color remains the same color, and 2) XORing any color with itsetf resutls in color #0. First, I "got" a CELL that contained only the background (from frame ?). I pasted that cell over time. Then, I restored the original colors of the car by by XORing with the same cell again, after masking the color#0 pixels (otherwise the background would also be restored). Since, each frame required a different mask, each frame had to be processed individually. I did this by recording my actions for one frame (with an advamce to the next frame included as the last action), and repeating this macro 34?? times. The pixels that are different from the corresponding pixel in the CEL any pixel of the car in a particular frame is the the same color the pixel had in the background, you will have to fix that pixel manually.
