Looking to get a Video Toaster 4000 in a week or so. Went to my local dealer and this is what he recommended. Toaster 4000 -| Amiga 4000/040 | 18 megs RAM total | 4091 controller (SCSI II) |- $6488.00 Assemble & Test | RGB Analog monitor -| Toaster Toolbox 4000 (A external expansion box) $370 2 Time Base Correctors $1000 each 2 Time Base Corrector Remote $299 each Art Department Professional (Converts PC graphics) $299 2 small monitors $300 each TOTAL PRICE $10,353 We need to create sales videos for several of our products. We are in the waste water business so real life video is sometimes in poor taste. Animations/Walkthru of our equipment/plants would be great. Looking at 3D studio on PC and VT4000. Would like any comments. Have used POV raytracer to generate test clips to show the top brass what we have in mind. They like it, but $10,000 is a lot to spend if it does not fill the bill or will need lots of add-ons to make it really do what we want.
