Do you know if the AAA chipset will be coupled with a RISC processor? That
would put some serious pressure on the other guys, or are they up to that point
already? It seems that C= started the Amiga out right, lots of power and speed
that the other companies weren't really close to. Now they've fallen off the
pace and thus always playing catch-up with companies that Amiga should be well
ahead of. Take for instance the Atari Falcon, sure it's just an expensive
toilet plunger but it's got the built in MIDI support. Amiga? Still no DSP
and no MIDI. Now then what's this Acorn thing they got over in jolly 'ole
England? I hear it's RISC based, and getting to be quite popular in the field
of education. So I can see why netrunners are spreading the doom and gloom of
C='s demise. I only hope that, as you said, the next WOA brings not just us
Amiga users, but the whole computer industry, good news and awe inspireing
power.
