MH: Of course that must be a strange dimension. Matter appearing and MH: disappearing at random times and places I assume. Hope no one MH: steals hismatter while hes not looking, be one heck of a way to lose MH: an arm?!?!? It doesn't really have to be that strange at all. I once read a book called Flatland (or was to Flatworld), about a 2 dimensional world populated by polygons (triangles, squares, pentagons, etc.) They had length and width, but no height. Then one day a SPHERE visted them. It floated above them, and they couldn't see it, but it could be heard. The sphere passed through the 2D plane to be seen, but the sqaure saw only a small circle appearing out of "nowhere" then grow larger then smaller. The sphere could also "invisibly" touch the insides of the square from above. If the shapeshifter also exists in such away, then he could appear to change mass, simply by touching a smaller/larger portion of his mass to our more limited (detectable) number of planes.
