Pls. excuse me for jumping in here, but I also am having a problem w/ the Toshiba 3401B — no problem w/ the caddy staying in, but the SCCI device driver (Trantor for the PAS16) does not recognize that a CDROM dirve is there (TSLCD.SYS reports "SCSI host adaptor detected at address 388h" – followed by a looonnng pause -about 1 minute- then "No devices respond to this host adaptor") — Any ideas would be most appreciated – bad SCSI cable, maybe?? Drive DOA?? — As I say power is definitely there as caddy is drawn in w/ a flashing busy light, and eject works fine. Have not changed drive factory defaults (jumpers, termination resistors, etc.) Thanks for any feedback, Mike
