Hello: I am cross posting this message in a number of areas in the hope of finding some input on the use of CDROM technology in a lab or stand alone environment for language learning at the College level. Proposed setup would be a 20 station PC compatible Novell net with CDROM: standalone CD? or network array? I would need to know what CD software exists …and has been successful…in French, Spanish and Japanese. How do you use it in a College …or other setting? Can sound be handled on a network or does each workstation need a CDROM player and its own sound card. I would very much encourage responses from hardware or software suppliers who are familiar with this technology or indeed from interested computer "experts". thanks. John
