Hard Drive on A1000

The one thing you definetely need to put a Harddrive on an A1000 is a thing called a Host/Adapter which is a box that plugs onto the bus on the right side of the Amiga and converts the Amiga Bus to a SCSI bus. I use a C.Ltd Host/Adapter, but they've gone out of buisness so I would definitely recommend a currently liquid vendor. There is a catalog that has been recently published called "The Amiga Reference, AC's GUIDE To The Commodore AMIGA". There is a large section under DRIVES that list products that will hook up ST-506 and SCSI drives to your A1000. I suggest you get this catalog as it has product descriptions *and* vendor addresses to which you can direct questions and orders. Mike McCormick
