Please see my reply to Paul Lind.
Ana
ps. I'm sure you are very good, Dave. However, I can reply you with a little
spanish popular phrase: "Dime de que presumes, y te dire de lo que careces".
For those who don't know spanish: Tell me what are you saying you have (talent,
money, beauty) and I will tell you what are your faults and what you don't have
(in your case, modesty). Please Dave, I think that you could be a little
modest. I think I'm a very good talented artist, but I am not going there
claiming that I'm best than Velazquez neither than Tex Avery (which for now,
ARE FAR FAR FAR AWAY from my position in the art and animation world). My
objective is to win an Imagina award (or two :)someday (and I'm now preparing a
project with a marvellous team to achieve that), work with the great ones and
be a one of the BEST one my time comes (and I will fight for that). Probably
someday I will become as good as Avery AND people will see my work and the work
of my team on the Saturday morning show and in the big screen, and I could be
considered as good as Avery in the future BUT I never will say that in public:
hey! I'm the best! I'll left that to the critic and the public (if my hard work
finally results on a success, which I wish to). You can be a genius, man, BUT
you will be socially more appreciated if you don't claim it.
I think that they are masters, and when you reach their position in art and
animation field, I will be the first one to claim that you are a Master of
Masters and a genius. Sincerelly, Ana.
