Jonathan,
I can read, write, and format Mac 1.4M disks on my Amiga HD floppy drive
using the Amax II Plus card. I understand it simulates the variable speed
of the Mac by turning the motor on and off VERY rapidly. (hate to think
what that does to the drive in the long term!)
