3D Studio's greatest feature is speed. Truly complex scenes often render in only a couple of minutes. Simple things always render under 1 minute! Interesting enough, though, there's a lot of basic things missing from the object creation side of the program. I find I do a lot of design in Imagine and rendering in 3DS. Unless, of course, I need lots of reflections. I have found that raytracing with Imagine PC is often faster than building many automatic reflection maps in 3D Studio. –Rick Rodriguez
