#QuarterBack 5.x
Recently I purchased a used 250MB tape drive, and along with the
drive the person gave me his QuarterBack 5.0x (original disk and
manual). So first thing I need to do is get registered under my name.
I did purchase and register the original version of QuarterBack, but
never purchased the 5.0x upgrade.
Also, I do have a question on the buffer options of QB. If I set the
Memory Type: to Any, it still uses chip memory instead of fast. So even
with 2MB of chip, about 750K is the max I can set the Restore or Backup
buffer sizes.
And one other thing that I think you can do to improve the program is
come up with an easier way to do multiple backups. Although the 'Multiple
Backup' macro is usable, it would be a lot easier if QB just gave you a
list requester of all available volumes, and then you just clicked on what
volumes you would like to backup and in what order.
