Access from Tokyo
Rod, First thing to do is put some budget aside. The most economical
network I've found is FENICS. The surcharge (in addition to CI$) is about
Y70/US$.60/min. The 1200 baud number in Tokyo is 3730-4944, 2400-3739-9968
(both 8N1). I don't know about AP or WHAP!, but the sequence is:
YOU DISPLAY dial & connect 2 or so <CR>
WELCOME TO FENCIS
(a bunch of numbers, then at
* prompt c cis <CR>
USER ID: (as usual)
The network charge will be added to your normal bill (and you WILL notice
that!)
