CD-ROM is EXPLODING on PCs right now. Many clone makers are putting in CD-ROMs to differentiate. Gateway for example is now putting it in almost all of their systems. Did you realize Gateway is almost as big as Commodore!?!? Also, Apple offers Macs with CD-ROM drives installed, which is great for the CD business. The Sega CD drive though has been very expensive. For "edutainment" and games, a CD drive has to be dirt cheap. The CDTV was basically too expensive, and the titles not exciting enough. Commodore knows this though… stay tuned. Paul.
