#AAPLAY.DLL video problem
I've written a program that uses AAPLAY.DLL and AAVGA.DLL to play animations in
full-screen mode. It works great on most of the VGA cards I've tested, however
some with some cards (noteably AST with VGA on the mother board) The screen
becomes garbled when I start an animation, or switch to a new animation, or
sometimes in the middle of an animation.
These problems disappear when I use Int2fSwitch=yes in the [AAPLAY Animation]
section of win.ini. However, when this switch is enabled, the Player fails to
restore the video mode under which Windows was running, when the animation is
terminated. The screen is garbled. Interestingly enough, this appears to hold
true for all video cards that I've tried, not just the ASTs.
Any advice you might have is greatly appreciated.
