Well, you're right, it's probably pretty easy to read through all of the 3ds Reference Manual during installation, but you can't really go through the tutorials until you've got the program installed. <g> As far as changing the installation program, that's Autodesk's baby. We couldn't even get them to add blinking cursors. (Though I think we might have blinking cursors for Release 3.) Would be nice though. Adding sound to the install program would make it a true multimedia product. – J
