From what I saw at Comdex I'd say the the DEC Alpha is only being held up by
Windows NT release and if Windows NT then DEC Alpha and Intel Pentium will be
left in the dust. Personally, I'm holding off until this three way speed race
takes a pit stop before jumping in on upgrades to my MB. I've put all my
budget for upgrades in software and harddrive (related) dollers for the rest of
the year. Thanks for your benchmark reports and looking forward to future
reports from you.
