I don't have the final say in these matters. Part of the problem is that POS kiosks have to be rock-solid and not drop a single bit of information. The slightest instability can mean a loss of a sale (*not* good). Since we plan on having 500+ of these things, scattered in 48 states, we need to be able to contract with various locals for service. Most of the time when I talk to local service people about supporting C= stuff, I get blank stares or hard luck stories about past parts problems. I would love to have CDTV or 1200's running.
