Hello Rich, There's a program available here on CIS that's called SnoopDos. What it does is tell you everytime a program tried to do something with a file. It also tells you where the file is that the program is trying to access and what the file is called. If you run this while you try to startup JRComm it should tell you the information you need. When I was using a floppy system I had two drives and (nearly always) kept my WB disk in my internal drive. If you type 'assign' at a CLI prompt one of the assignments that should come up is "Fonts: Sys2.1:Fonts" or something to that effect. Is this happening? If not put an assign in your User-Startup (in your S: directory) that reads "assign fonts: sys2.1:fonts/" and then warmboot. The next time you run JRComm it should at least be able to find the fonts: volume. Whether or not it has the font it's looking for is another question and one that can be answered partly by using SnoopDos and partly by doing a 'dir fonts:' to see if the font indicated by SD is in the directory. If it isn't take a gander on your JRC disk and see if the font it wants is there and copy it to your fonts: volume. Holler (or type) if you need more help. SNPDOS.LZH -Sean
