Frank, the A. is a first initial though I use my second name. It keeps the credit card people happy to have all the initials in the right places.8-) I'm wondering why I can't just get an A600HD, a genlock to link my signal and his signal and output it to the cable system. Then some software to do the horizontal crawler across the bottom of the screen with the upper part blank so his listings show through, as long as it's Arexx compatable and multitasking software. Then a modem and some communications software. Then use our existing IBM and modem at our end to send the updated forecast and initiate the updating of it via Arexx on the Amiga. Glad you brought it up as I'm a little concerned about power failures and bumps knocking the system down when it is needed most (ie during a thunderstorm). I hope a script can be put in the Amiga's start-up sequence to restore the system. I think I'll leave a message in the Arexx area for info on the scripting. But does the video end sound ok to you? Do you know about any titling software that can do this and is Arexx compatable? Sorry I'm a neophite in the area of DTV, and info in mags is hard to find. Nick.
