COGO is an acronym for COordinate GeOmetry or something like that. We use it in the design of roadways and site development. Since I work in the Structural department (buildings and bridges), i don't have alot of need to know COGO. The geometry we need for the bridge is pretty much predetermined by the roadway department by the time the bridge design is started. judging from what I've seen so far, I would say that it would be quite a coincidence if the points ended up as a uniform matrix. I can get x,y,z points and then I could write a routine in autolisp to read the file and construct a face in acad. But before I got all carried away, i wanted to see how other people might approach it. thanks tjl
