NIK, NIK, NIK…. You have described perfectly what an end user has to do in order to install the MCI driver on his machine, including the edits he needs to make to the win.ini file. His question was " Is there an easy way for us to give our user the necessary driver. The three people that want to use this have 486 windows machines, but are not computer jocks and I want to spare them having to edit their .ini files, etc." The answer is no. You MUST edit the win.ini in order to properly install the MCI driver. The only way to make it easier would be to write an installation routine that edits the win.ini for you. However, I am not aware of one that already exists. The developer would have to write it. -Brian
