There obviously is no way to prevent you from disseminating the phone number. Asinine? Possibly. Pointless? Yes. The Samsung rumor is a _rumor_. There is no factual evidence to suggest that Samsung or anyone else has expressed any interest in Commodore or the Amiga. If you like rumors, I heard a good one today … Commodore presented an offer from Samsung to the Bahamian Supreme Court on the 31th and the court turned down the proposal and gave Commodore a 30 day extension to find and present an acceptable offer. My source? Who cares … it is RUMOR. At any rate, if Samsung (or whoever) is working a deal Commodore, their PR department is not going to tell you a thing. They either have no idea what is going on (unless you speak Korean and are willing to call their main office in Seoul) or they will lie to you — until and if a deal is done, an announced to the public you are not going to get squat out of them. Rumor says Sony is buying Commodore, so is Philips, don't forget that Jim Drew stated his desire to form a consortium of developers to purchase or license the technology … then there's the HP rumors, GoldStar was mentioned a couple of times (no, Samsung and Goldstar are not the one and the same — they are big time competitors). Make sure you post all of their numbers so they can all be annoyed equally.
