Unfortunately, NONE wants to buy the whole firm. Philips was one of the 27, but no sign of SAMSUNG … Some of the shareholders-creditors did ask for chapter 7 for CEL and CIL in the US on May 4th. This was accepted by the court on May 25th, the hearing will be in New York on June 24th. A few names : Prudential, Pruco Life Insurance Company, and Anchor National Life Insurance Company were amongst those for chapter 7 liquidation. Mr Gould was was not between them ???? My source highly doubts that SAMSUNG is one of the interested parties. He still thinks that it is one big smoke screen. Samsung, or the real buyer, was also interested in the Commodore name for selling PC's … Source : from someone working at management level at one of the European brancheds of C= that are still running.
