Thanks for the response. Actually I got confused in my threads. <g> There is
that other software problem in that someone else had an A1200 but didn't have
the install diskette for 3.0. I had replied that I had the same problem (set of
3.0 diskettes but no install diskette). Apparently the HD on my A1200 was
installed by a dealer who installed the software but didn't provide the HD
installer software, soooo when the drive was trashed it wasn't an easy install
and I am not sure I have everything installed correctly (though I am no rank
beginner when it comes to the AMIGA).
I have been hoping that 3.1 would be released and then this problem would be
solved but it doesn't look like 3.1 will ever be released. :^( I have 3
AMIGAS waiting for 3.1.
