Does it have enough sizing range to avoid black borders in >the DblNTSC resolutions? I have a stock A1200 with an Idek 5017 SP monitor. IMHO, the image quality is excellent. However, you should know that I am not a video professional and some fine points may be escaping me. Also, I am more used to the PC monitors I use at work, but I prefer the Idek to any of them (Mitsubishi 15FS, NEC, and Nanao). Have just tried switching thru the various modes and I believe that the auto-centering is less than perfect. Also, some modes change the size of the Workbench screen so it occupies the upper or left half of the screen only. With my admittedly limited knowledge of Amiga video modes, this may be normal. Finally, there is a small black border in DblNTSC resolution (~?"). >Also, does anyone know if there are other 17" muliscan monitors that can >scan down to 15KHz? There is a list of monitors capable of 15KHz which I downloaded from one of the Amiga forums here called MONINF.LHA. It includes over 20 monitors. If you want I can CMail it to you.
