David, I enjoy your articles in MW, and your responses to many a query here on CIS. I have a puzzle for you. I purchased and returned a PB 540 because the external video on my Apple 16" monitor was slightly fuzzzy. I then purchased a PB 540c (an AWESOME machine). When I hook this PB up to the same monitor with an Apple provided adaptor it is still fuzzy. This is really beginning to bug me. I also want to mention that I normally am using this monitor with a Power Mac 8100. It is not fuzzy, in fact, it is flawless on the 8100. My needs are such that I am going to sell the 8100 and keep the PB 540c. The only problem that I seem to have is this fuzzy Screen. Could this have anything to do with the 16 bit wide video on the PBs. (I don't know what I just said, but I read it somewhere). What can I do? Thanks much, Stanford K Eastman There are 4 Replies.
