Finding an Internship in the U.S.
To whom it may concerne,
my name is Juergen FESSLMEIER and I am studying Computer Science at
Fachhochschule Rosenheim (Polytechnic) for four semester and I would
like to specialise in program development, databases or in graphical systems.
I am looking for an internship in the U.S. which could start on September 1,
1994 and lasts for 6 or 12 months. It may be interesting for you that I
have considerable experience in SQL, Cobol, Pascal and the programming
language C/C++.
In order you are in need of people with computer science background please
note that I already worked with UNIX and Simulation Software on HP-UX and
IBM-RS6000 workstations. In addtion to my studies, I have taken courses
in English. My knowledge of English will be adequate for working in your
company.
If it is possible for you to arrange a placement in the U.S.,
you have to know that I will be sponsored by the Internship USA
program of the Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE),
which provides me with a J-1 cultural exchange visa.
I would therfore be very grateful if you could send me an offer for an
internship which I would then present to the COUNCIL. The offer must be
presented to the COUNCIL at least two months before the internship.
My hobbies are tennis, squash, volleyball, travelling, reading. I did
courses in OO-Languages, Graphical-Data-Processing, Typing, French. I
am Teamleader in our Volleyball-Team.
