Paul, Sounds like a great show. We purchased a Power PC Mac Centris 6100/60AV. It has a 250MB hard drive, CD-ROM and 16MB of RAM. It's main purpose is for DTP work. We've had a heck of a time trying to transfer DTP data to our service bureau via Emplant and A-Max IV. So, far we find the machine terrific for the DTP stuff. It's multimedia capabilities are nice but the performance is terrible! Apple threw in a sample CD-ROM with lots of demos. Most of them were authored on MacroMind Director. Neat stuff, but slow, slow, slow! I guess we'll have to wait for the Power Mac OS upgrade and the native software to really see how it all works. We though about attending the show (They called us). Alas, there was a schedule conflict. Maybe next time. Regards, John Chang Technical Support Manager Scala, Inc.
