I am having problems converting postscript fonts to bitmap fonts with the Mkbmap program. I have a directory, PSFONTS, on my dh0: hard drive assigned in my user startup as PSFONTS: dh0:PSFONTS. Inside PSFONTS, I have init.ps and the postscript fonts I would like to convert. I have not been able to convert any of them. One example is the Columbus (Columbus.pbf) postscript font. I have used newzap3.18 to look inside the file and the font is "Columbus" (I know the font search is case sensitive). In my Libs directory, I have post.library. In my C directory, I have Mkbmap. From the dh0> prompt in the Shell, I type the following hoping to convert the postscript font Columbus to the bitmap fonts Columbus.100 and Columbus.80: mkbmap -n fonts:Columbus/* Columbus 100,80 Unfortunately, the response is as follows: Post: Error: Invalidfont, command –findfont– Mkbmap: postlibrary interpreter error If any one has any suggestions, I would greatly appreciate the help. Thanks. Buzz Bies
