I'm using WS_FTP.ZIP recently downloaded from CS like you, along with the TCP/IP-32 beta 2 (Dayona) stack – I'm assuming that is the one you mean. They work fine together for me into a Sun. I would expect that this FTP would also work into the old real-mode MS TCP stack (if that is what you have) as all the FTP wants is a true WINSOCK.DLL v1.1 interface. You don't mention it but there is also an FTP supplied with the beta, although it is more command oriented than WS_FTP. I think MS expect that you will go to a third party to get flashy stuff, and the same goes for things like rcp etc. They are just providing the basics like telnet and a fairly simple ftp. I realise this may not help greatly, but I thought you would like to know the two do work together for someone! Paul Cuthbert PARK LANE COMPUTING Australia Read action !repoly Enter reply. (/EXIT when done) 1: A few weeks ago, I downloaded the old TSR-based TCP/IP stack. 2: That's what I tried to use. Then I scre-scanned the libraries 3: and found beta 2. I was able to use the 'ftp' without trouble., a 4: lthough I do wish that it worked in a DOS box from the ocommand 5: line, so I could add it to batch files like I do under WinNT. 6: Where's Daytona when you need it? Well, I ordered MDN Level II 7: the other day, it should be here soon, right? 8: 9: .//post Message # 53662 posted
