Thanks John, Just got it up and running but what a headache!! Not to mention froma 540MB Quantum thats supposed to be that formatted it really became 515MB after format, big rip off!! Oh well thats SCSI. What I did is just what you said. I put the SCSI_DEVICE_NAME to warpdrive.device and it then could format the drive. BUT I did have to get the drives particulars from QUANTUM. WARNING, DANGER WILL ROBINSON, I have been told by Macrosystems that there are a few Quantums like the 540 which are not recognized by their SCSI controller. The BIOS is sent or read incorrectly and therefore you geta drive with a negative size. Really Wierd…. Oh well I just started getting everything else going. Thanks for the info. Do you know of any way to get a better format out of SCSI drives?? 25MB does seem extreme for a loss. Oh well, The SS PAW now has full WARP Power Cap'tn.
