Our school district's 5 yr plan is to convert their phone system to T1 and network all the schools as well. A side benefit of this will be community access to Internet via a local call to the school multiplexer. I have trepidations about the capital expenditure, it wouldn't pass my company's admittedly Ferengish criteria. But for a relatively remote (by today's standards) town of 12,000 , the Internet and some other statewide services will prove beneficial. Michael P.S. – I will be in the Claymont, DE area for at least two days July 19-20th. I want to try and take an additional day off to visit either Calvert Cliffs or look for those mine dumps near Phoenixville.
