Linking???
Hi Dennis. Looks like I missed a discussion regarding how I do "hierarchical
linking."
Nowadays unless a message is addressed to me, I may not see it for a while.
Although I have uploaded explanations on other topics, I haven't done one on
linking yet. The following file is a very nice example of hierarchical linking
that you might have missed, since "hierarchical" or "linking" are not listed in
the keywords. I hadn't used 3D Studio, when I did it, where I learned those
terms.
Here's a hint on how that FLC was done. Two branches are attached to the end of
the trunk. Each of those branches and the stuff attached to them resemble
smaller trees.

Title: Fractal Tree #2. By Kellerman. 93-11-11
Keywords: ANIPRO FRACTAL TREE KELLERMAN
FLC of a tree, made out of 65536 leaves and 21845 branches, waving in
the wind.
If you want to see how far you can go with AniPro 1.3, you must look at
this FLC.
I never suspected that AniPro 1.3 alone could be used to create such
realistic 3-D renderings. In addition, rendering took less than an hour
(many hours spent polishing, creating the background, etc. though).
I am also uploading a quarter-sized version (named 86FR67.ZIP).
