Yeah, and 7th Guest was one of the all-time best-selling CD ROMs ever. The
success of 7th Guest sent a lot of mixed signals to the small multimedia
companies, who tend to think that it defined how a CD should be done.
Personally, I saw the graphics, said "cool", then dropped it because it bored
the hell out of me. The new companies that have 'til now been freeloading on
the multimedia hype wave will soon either smarten up or fold, but the game
player will win in the end.
