Copy from the letter addressed to YOST before I see you: Hallo Chuck, the new IPAS #6 + #7 disks are arrived. 🙂 But I can't admire them cause I have some problems with the new VIBRANT driver. 🙁 I have installed a BOCA SVGA with a cirrus chip GD-5422 VESA BIOS 1.02 that workes well, but it has not the stable frequency for high resolution eye-spare [hope you understand]. Secondary I have installed a SPEA HiLite (Super res./freq. in all) ADIREND.EXP V3.12 (10.14.93) P386 ADI. That's my working environment. Everytime I install RCPADI at the VIBRANT installation prompt into the new VIB. driver I get an Abnormal program termination: Memory protection fault CS:EIP = 0008h:00001860h after starting 3DS.EXE (doesn't matter if it's the old or the "APPDATA"-patched version of 3DS.EXE). The CS:EIP-Address will vary with the position of the RCPADI (Main-Display,Material-Disp. or Render-Displ). So I found out the old VIBRAND works well in this configuration (RCPADI) but I think the fast-shading viewport of DISPLACE etc. will not work. Now, what problem do I have? Is it the new VIBRANT driver? Is it the combination in the VIB. config mix it with RCPADI. Or is it a SPEA eg. RCPADI problem?
