Peter, I'm pretty sure that the reason your colors looked washed out to you is because I brought all the segments up to standard settings using the color bars that were recorded on the front of each segment. Your black levels were VERY low, down around 2 IRE. Bringing the black level up to 7.5 could indeed look washed out to you, if you're accustomed to looking at your picture at the lower settings. I'll bet your hues were much closer to right this time, though… <g> Jerry
