#SCSI Tape Problem
Further to my previous posts regarding the Tandberg TDC 3600 tape drive I
am having problems with below is some additional information which may be
useful.
Old info:
Amiga 1200
GVP A1230 Turbo +II
GVP A1291 SCSI I/F
Tandberg TDC 3600 External Tape drive
AmiBack 1.05b Backup software
Problem:
When the software tries to write to the drive you get an "Illegal SCSI
request" error. It can rewind the tape, retension the tape, but not
read/write to the tape.
Before trying to rewind/retension you get the following error too "Mode
select failed, tape drive may not perform optimally"
